Called "Cardinal" cloths in antiquity, these amazing and vivid Victorian cotton damask tablecloths are the epitome of the era's style and character...over-the-top elegance and thoughtful details, down to the black woven Greek key border and embedded damask pattern in a perfect square. These sought after pieces are rarely found unused and fringes are never "good"...need I say, the fringes here are amazing and this one retains residue and paper from the original label! Various marks of age are shown below and will likely soak away. But these can be easily ignored for the grand pattern in the vivid damask. Oh, my!!
