Tablecloth, "Sunflowers" Cutter

Medium weight antique linen tablecloth in bold, plate size sunflower damask with petals that are bent in the breeze will absolutely charm you this summer...imagine a vase of the real thing sitting atop this vivid piece?!...whew! The bad news is, there are two tiny holes and a spot (about 1mm each) and a laundry mark on one corner. Being the perfectionist that I am, I must call it a cutter, but you can use it, I assure you!
This cloth was cut to size from a large bolt with a pattern that runs the whole way through. I call this "running damask" as opposed to "paneled damask" where the pattern turns the corner and forms a frame around a center field. Running damask was especially useful for cutting a custom length...you certainly could do this too, without harming the pattern.
Delightful, vivid, creamy white linen is hand hemmed and offered as a cutter but completely usable, freshly laundered and pressed. c.1890's - 1920's 70" X 86"
