Vintage Raw Silk Tablecloth
with Needlelace Inserts

Raw silk and linen vintage tablecloth has geometric borders and was entirely handmade. The cream raw silk center field is nubby, as you would expect, and forms a lovely contrast to the smooth linen borders that are edged with a darker cream ribbon, ecru embroidery and needlelace inserts.
This piece would be at home on an Arts and Crafts table but has a deco feel, as well. Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition with two very minor breaks, shown below. c.1910 -- 1930's 44" X 45"
