Superior quality vintage Irish linen double damask tablecloth is adorned with a professionally designed and hand embroidered monogram "GMC". A perfect square with a round inner damask border, this piece is ideally shaped to be used on just about any table. It would be particularly lovely centered at angles on a long rectangular banquet table. The placement of the monogram is what makes this piece so versatile.
Irish linen double damask is medium weight and finished with hand sewn hems. A hallmark can be found woven into the linen near the corners. Elegant, superior quality piece. Excellent, rarely used condition, offered as found. c.1930's - 50's 72" square
