Rare and original Art Nouveau era Victorian antique tape lace tea cloth has a fluid, floral design that takes it's cues from nature. The fabulous Branscombe lace is intricately finished with a variety of complicated fillings that give the piece depth and presence. There are two tiny pin sized holes near an edge, shown below. I found no other flaws. Then simple monogram "T" is centered over one corner. Cream linen is a medium weight, tight weave.....absolutely beautiful!...this piece makes me smile... Excellent condition, freshly laundered and pressed. c.1890's 32" square
